The Arc of Harrisonburg and Rockingham promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes. They currently serve over 35 individuals with disabilities through Group Day and Community Engagement programs, and In-Home Care and Respite Services.
Prior to implementing Relias Learning in 2014, education administration was manual and staff training was primarily instructor-led, which meant scheduling challenges, expenses and difficulties getting everyone trained on time. They found it was very challenging to get access to training topics needed for the variety of services provided, including Behavior Management, Supervision, and Person-Centered Training.
