Project Firstline NY Infection Control Training Demo for Relias Customers

Webinar

About This Webinar

Project Firstline NY is an infection control training program for the nation’s frontline healthcare workforce. Project Firstline NY has partnered with Relias to deliver this infection control training statewide for non-clinical healthcare workers in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities within the state of New York. The training is free, concise, engaging, and available to participate in regardless of your busy schedule!

This session is designed for New York skilled nursing and assisted living facilities who are already Relias customers.

Health care workers are the first line of defense against diseases like COVID-19. That is why the Foundation for Quality Care, a non-profit educational foundation affiliated with the New York State Health Facilities Association (NYSHFA) and the New York State Center for Assisted Living (NYSCAL) is launching Project Firstline NY—a grant-funded initiative with the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

In conjunction with the CDC, Project Firstline NY will prepare frontline staff in Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Facilities throughout New York State—to protect themselves, their patients, and their communities from infectious disease threats, such as COVID-19 with FREE Infection Control Training!

Regardless of how many times you have had infection control training in the past, this webinar will teach you concrete actions you can implement today and every day to stop the spread of infectious disease and prevent future outbreaks.

The FQC Project Firstline NY will benefit (but is not limited to):

  • Certified Nursing Assistants
  • Personal Care Aides
  • Food and Nutrition Staff
  • Housekeeping
  • Facilities Staff
