Healthcare technology company recognized with Learning and Development Technology Award for e-learning simulation
Relias, trusted education and workforce development partner to more than 11,000 healthcare organizations worldwide, today announced it has won a 2022 Brandon Hall Group Excellence in Technology Award.
Relias’ video-based e-learning simulation course, “A Day in the Life: An IDD Perspective,” won a Gold Award in Learning and Development Technology: Best Advance in Gaming or Simulation Technology. The course allows users to experience the many daily challenges faced by an individual with an intellectual and developmental disability (IDD), so that they can consider how these individuals’ experiences differ from their own, and how they might improve their approaches when working with clients with IDD. Filmed with a GoPro camera, the simulation combines immersive first-person perspectives with the accessibility of online training.

Relias was previously awarded a Brandon Hall Group Silver award in 2017 for excellence in the Best Certification Program category. The program, Mental Health First Aid Re-Certification, was created in partnership with The National Council for Behavioral Health.
