Relias today announced it has agreed to sell Relias Germany to Thieme Group, a transaction that will allow the multi-solution workforce enablement company to concentrate its resources and investment on its compliance, training, and workforce-development platform for healthcare organizations in North America.
Over the past decade, Relias Germany has grown into a trusted name in digital learning and compliance for healthcare and social care providers across Germany, and that story isn’t ending, it’s finding its best next chapter.
Thieme Group brings deep regional expertise in medical publishing, healthcare, and education across German-speaking markets, making it the right long-term home for the business and the customers it serves. For Relias’ U.S. customers, this transaction sharpens the company’s focus. Resources, product development, and team capacity will be concentrated on Relias’ U.S. platform. This is expected to translate into faster delivery on its product roadmap, continued investment in AI-enabled compliance and workforce tools, and a team more fully dedicated to supporting its US customer base.
The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including applicable regulatory approvals, and is expected to close in Q4 2026.
