Several new state association partnerships will provide leading training solutions for members of NASP, MARF, and Colorado Alliance.
CARY, NC, November 12, 2015 –Relias Learning, the leader in online training and compliance solutions for the healthcare market, announced three new partnerships with MARF, NASP, and Colorado Alliance. These three state associations, all members of ANCOR, will provide members specialized rates on Relias Learning’s training solutions.
According to the Department of Health and Human Services, the number of DSPs needed to meet Long Term Services and Supports demand will grow to approximately 1.2 million FTEs by 2020, placing even more demands on staff training and development. The new partners, which are community-based organizations advocating for and serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families, will provide organizations access to the content and tools needed to meet those needs. The three partnerships include:
- Missouri Association of Rehabilitation Facilities (MARF)
- Nebraska Association of Service Providers (NASP)
- Colorado Alliance
“We are thrilled to announce our new partnerships,” said Greg Ives, Director of Partnerships at Relias Learning. “Relias Learning is devoted to providing the tools necessary to build competencies across the direct support and rehabilitation workforce supporting those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Providing quality care begins with a skilled and trained workforce. Partnering with these associations will put training in the hands of more people nationwide and help us to continue creating and providing the best programs available.”
Relias Learning will offer members of these associations specialized rates on its Intellectual and Developmental Disability Training and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Autism Libraries, which contain 272 courses and more than 200 course hours accredited through the National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals (NADSP). These courses are designed to improve competency and performance in community-based support, positive behavior support, autism support, customized employment, health and safety, and more.
“MARF is proud to announce a partnership with Relias Learning to further the resources available to Missouri providers who are a part of the MARF team,” says Erika Leonard, executive director of MARF. “We strive to enhance the lives of Missourians with disabilities and Relias Learning will equip our provider members and their professional staff with knowledge to advance our mission.”
