Relias’ Candace Wallace Named Among Healthcare Technology Report’s Top 50 Women Leaders in Healthcare Technology

By fostering customer joy, Relias executive is helping shape the future of healthcare workforce solutions

Relias, the trusted multi-solution workforce enablement partner to 12,000 healthcare organizations and 4.5 million caregivers, has announced that Candace Wallace, Chief Customer Officer at Relias, has been recognized as one of the Top 50 Women Leaders in Healthcare Technology of 2024 by The Healthcare Technology Report.

This prestigious list celebrates the women driving innovation and transformation in healthcare technology, creating change both within their organizations and in the industry.

“The women recognized in this year’s list are shaping the future of healthcare technology, providing steady leadership and deep expertise in a rapidly evolving industry,” said a leader at The Healthcare Technology Report. “Their ability to navigate shifting market conditions while keeping a strong focus on customer needs continues to drive innovation and lasting progress across the sector.”

As a champion of customer success, Wallace launched Relias’ Voice of Customer program, transforming how Relias collects and applies customer feedback. Her efforts led to a 50% increase in customer satisfaction scores and a 500% increase in response rates, giving customers more input in shaping Relias’ solutions.

“Candace has been instrumental in shaping Relias’ customer-centric approach, and there is no doubt she deserves this recognition,” said Kay Krafft, CEO at Relias. “Her deep understanding of our customers’ needs strengthen how we support organizations in reducing cost and risk, increasing retention, and ultimately improving patient care outcomes.”

Wallace’s passion for understanding customer needs also helped fuel Relias’ expansion. With its recent acquisition of Feedtrail, a patient experience management platform, Relias now offers real-time data insights, patient feedback, and prescriptive interventions to help healthcare organizations optimize care.

“I’m very excited to see us grow in the Quality Management space,” said Wallace. “But it doesn’t stop here. We’ll continue to investigate customer experiences and learn how to best meet their needs for every solution we bring to market.”

This recognition builds on a history of accolades from The Healthcare Technology Report. In 2024, Relias was named one of the Top 25 Healthcare Software Companies and Top 100 Healthcare Technology Companies. In addition, Lora Sparkman, MHA, BSN, RN, VP, Partner, Clinical Solutions, Patient Safety and Quality at Relias, was celebrated among the Top 25 Women Leaders in Healthcare Software in 2022.

“It’s an honor to be recognized alongside these incredible women,” said Wallace. “For me, it’s always been about listening to customers, understanding their challenges, and delivering solutions that truly support them. This recognition only reinforces that commitment — because when we get it right for our customers, we help them get it right for the people they serve.”
