Livestream event will feature giveaways, guests, comedy, career insights, and more
Nurse.com, a community where more than three million nurses can connect with peers, apply for jobs, and earn continuing education, will host a free virtual event on May 8 from noon to 3:30 p.m. EDT to celebrate National Nurses Week.
Broadcasting live from Miami, this one-day event will kick off with a comedy segment and include hourly giveaways, guest appearances from nurse entrepreneurs and influencers, interactive games, and a chance for nurses to come together to network and celebrate.
“National Nurses Week is about honoring the heart and hustle of this incredibly challenging and rewarding profession,” said Cara Lunsford, RN, VP of Community at Nurse.com and host of the NurseDot Podcast. “Nurse.com believes that nurses deserve to be celebrated not just for what they do, but for who they are. This event is our way of giving back to a community that gives so much — by bringing them connection, joy, and a reminder that they’re not alone.”
In addition to the virtual event, Nurse.com will be celebrating across multiple platforms, sharing interviews with standout nurses and a featured content series throughout National Nurses Week. The festivities will continue May 9, as Nurse.com joins nurses aboard a five-night, special Virgin Voyages cruise.
