Emergency preparedness courses
Responding and recovering after a large-scale disaster such as a tornado can feel insurmountable, as is knowing how to help. Take it one step at a time by leveraging some of the free courses below from Relias. We can help you feel more prepared to care for those in need. Tornadoes are some of the earth’s most violent and terrifying storms. They arrive quickly and often with very little warning. Advance preparation is necessary to take immediate action if and when a Tornado Watch or Warning is issued. This course aims to provide staff with a basic foundation for staying safe during a tornado.
This course provides you with important information that you can use to help keep yourself and others safe during emergencies and disasters in the workplace.
The goal of this course is to provide all staff with the essentials of disaster preparedness, including emergency guidelines for potential disasters, the difference between shelter-in-place and evacuation, and items included in an emergency supply kit.
