ILEETA Selects Relias Learning As Exclusive Partner To Enable More Effective Training Management for Members

Global leader in law enforcement education partners with Relias to provide comprehensive learning management system (LMS) to its membership base, promoting public trust.

CARY, NC, October 16, 2014 – Relias Learning, the leader in SaaS-based training and compliance solutions for the health and human services market, announced today a new exclusive partnership with The International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA).

With a primary goal of connecting law enforcement trainers and educators and providing them with training resources to serve their needs, ILEETA recognized the ability of the Relias LMS to better prepare members for regulatory and societal changes. Through this partnership, the two industry leaders will enhance and improve training for criminal justice educators to reduce law enforcement risk across the nation.

“The criminal justice industry is challenged by both careful attention from public spectators and constantly changing regulations, and the Relias system will provide our members across the nation a tool to stay ahead of the curve,” says Harvey Hedden, executive director, ILEETA. “Since the Relias solution was designed in part by former law enforcement trainers for law enforcement trainers, the system meets the demanding, complex needs in our field and enhances professional development to better serve communities.”

The Relias LMS allows ILEETA members and their organizations to automatically assign curriculum to all employees, leverage existing courses and content as well as author customized courses with organizational-specific information. In addition, ILEETA members can track their employees’ course completion and compliance with industry regulations.

“We are constantly investing in our solution to improve our customers’ ability to train employees and manage their organizations’ education needs,” says Jim Triandiflou, CEO of Relias Learning. “By partnering with ILEETA, we are ensuring all our customers in the law enforcement and corrections industry receive the most up-to-date and engaging content to maximize learning.”

The ILEETA membership base can also use Relias Connect, an online community for Relias customers, to communicate with other professionals in the field, interact with Relias employees and customer service representatives and discuss relevant topics and training ideas.

“Partnerships and relationships go a long way in the law enforcement industry, and this partnership with Relias will give agencies the opportunity to raise their staff’s overall level of performance while also being careful stewards of the public’s finances,” says Hedden. “We are optimistic about how this relationship will allow us to reduce training costs while also enhancing the quality of training.”
