Relias Honored at 2017 QSAC Gala with Change Maker Award

Joins prestigious list of past honorees including Samsung, Pfizer and AT&T

CARY, NC, June 19, 2017 – Relias Learning, a trusted partner in online analytics, assessments, and learning for the healthcare market was the recipient of the Quality Services for the Autism Community (QSAC) Change Maker award earlier this week at the organization’s annual gala held in New York City.

QSAC’s Change Maker Award recognizes a company that has made a significant impact to the advancement of services supporting the autism community and people with developmental disabilities. The award honors those companies, who by their example, have focused on creating technologies that seek to support individuals with autism in achieving greater independence and realizing their full potential. Past recipients of this award have included Sprint (2014), Samsung (2015), and AT&T (2016) among others.

“Every day, our team at Relias strives to make a measurable impact in the lives of the most vulnerable members of society and those who care for them,” said Mark Belles, COO of Relias. “Receiving this honor from QSAC is humbling, and also a validation of our corporate mission.”

QSAC is a New York City and Long Island-based nonprofit that provides person-centered educational, residential, habilitation, and support programs for more than 2,400 children and adults with autism and their families. QSAC’s annual gala, Believe, seeks to celebrate the achievements of individuals with autism while honoring companies and community leaders who have made a significant and lasting commitment to the autism community.

QSAC was founded in 1978 by a group of parents confronted limited service options for their children with autism. Today, QSAC provides direct services to more than 2,100 children and adults throughout the region.
