Virtual event will offer three customer-focused content tracks highlighting best practices and successful outcomes
Relias, the trusted workforce enablement partner to more than 11,000 healthcare and human service organizations, will host its annual Impact Nation conference virtually on November 8, 2023.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of Relias’ premier event. Impact Nation is a client-exclusive, complimentary event which focuses on empowering healthcare administrators, learning and development professionals, and leaders across the entire industry to support and learn from one another with a full day of client stories, best practices, and product updates.
Attendees can choose from three different customer-focused content tracks and 18 speaking sessions featuring over 20 presenters.
- The Relias Administrative Mastery Program (RAMP) will allow customer attendees to consult Relias experts, meet other administrators, and become Certified Relias Administrators in just one day.
- Tips and Tricks will offer clients insights from their peers on ways to use the award-winning Relias Platform to ease administrative complexity and address challenges.
- Looking Ahead will provide Relias points of view on trends impacting our customers and a preview for the products and enhancements that Relias is bringing to customers in 2024.
The conference will feature Dr. Natalie Stavas as keynote speaker. Dr. Stavas is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Diego and specializes in work with vulnerable children, victims of abuse, and decreasing youth violence. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, she has focused her award-winning research on how COVID-19 is affecting children’s health. Dr. Stavas was also widely honored for her heroism at the scene of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, with The Boston Globe naming her “2013 Bostonian of the Year.”
Other featured speakers this year include Vicki Ittel, PhD, Director of Solutions at Relias, and Felicia Sadler, MJ, BSN, RN, CPHQ, LSSBB, Relias Partner. Ittel is a licensed psychologist by training, has held C-level positions at various national health plans before joining Relias, and formed several companies providing Medication Assisted Treatment.
Sadler has been a registered nurse for over 35 years and served in various nursing leadership roles. She works with healthcare organizations across the U.S. with strategies to improve healthcare quality and outcomes, workforce optimization, and organizational performance.

This year marks the first time Relias has expanded Impact Nation into a thought leadership mini-series including two additional, half-day virtual sessions. These separate events cover two of the most pressing issues facing healthcare organizations today.
Impact: Retention was held August 17, 2023, and was especially curated for senior leaders, administrators, and key staff members. The complimentary event concentrated on retention strategies to help address some of the most common retention issues.
Coming December 2023 is another Impact event addressing the state of healthcare training. Also free and virtual, this event will address findings revealed in Relias’ forthcoming 2023 State of Healthcare Training and Staff Development Report. The event will discuss current education and workforce training trends and challenges facing healthcare organizations of every size.
