Relias Learning Partners with OSS Academy® to Provide Most Dynamic Library of Online Law Enforcement Training

Training with Relias Learning includes courses for deputies, jailers, and corrections officers.

CARY, NC – Relias Learning has partnered with OSS Academy® to provide a more expansive library of law enforcement courses in combination with the extensive corrections content offered through the Corrections Online Training Collaborative (COTC). The leader in online training for corrections, the COTC, powered by Relias Learning, now offers over 40 OSS Academy® courses through its learning management system. This training is geared to meet the compliance needs of deputies, jailers, and corrections officers.

“We are excited about the opportunity to partner with OSS Academy®,” says Jim Triandiflou, CEO of Relias Learning. “This partnership will allow us to better serve corrections organizations and become a leader in online learning for the corrections and law enforcement field.”

Online law enforcement courses from the COTC and OSS Academy® act as a supplement to typical in-person training. Law enforcement organizations can optimize live training time and provide online learning for courses that don’t require an in-person setting. Self-paced, interactive courses provided through this partnership address topics including:

  • Active shooter response
  • Crime scene management
  • Defensive and distracted driving for law enforcement
  • Domestic violence response
  • Traffic stops
  • Rifle tactics
  • Vehicle Searches

The new courses by OSS Academy® were developed by subject matter experts specifically trained and experienced in providing high quality adult-based learning. These experts come from a variety of backgrounds including U.S. intelligence services, sheriff’s departments, police agencies, and federal enforcement agencies.

“We feel this selection of courses meets the diverse and specific standards of training for law enforcement organizations,” explains Jim. “Corrections and Law Enforcement are fast growing segments of Relias and we are investing significantly to meet the needs of these markets.”
