During the year, it enhanced its solutions suite with best-in-class analytics and assessments to complement its industry leading learning product portfolio. The company’s diversification into analytics and assessments was fueled by several key acquisitions designed to deliver solutions for critical challenges faced by clients, including higher patient satisfaction, risk mitigation, onboarding, readmissions and compliance.

  • Nearly a quarter of a million RN onboarding assessments completed, helping to insure hospital staffing procedures get better

Outstanding Business Growth and Results:

  • Revenue growth of over 50% year-over-year
  • Entered acute market with Relias Analytics, relied upon now by more than 1,000 hospitals
  • Saw adoption of Relias OB (for obstetricians) solution by eight out of 10 top U.S. hospital systems
  • 97% satisfaction with customer service (third straight year of 95% or above)
  • Acquired Advanced Practice Solutions and White Cloud Analytics to add advanced technology in analytics, assessments and learning

Employee Growth:

  • Added 146 employees in 2017, bringing the company total to 661
  • Broke ground on new Triangle-area headquarters with a 2019 planned move-in date
  • Averaged more than 44 hours of training per Relias employee

Product Innovation:

  • Created customized learning paths addressing critical clinical problems from maternal mortality to the opioid epidemic
  • Developed Virtual Reality course focused on empathy training for healthcare workers
  • Produced Opioid learning paths to help educate physicians on the frontlines of the national epidemic
  • Introduced several new assessments for the acute and post-acute market
  • Grow library of learning courses to over 7,000
