Relias Press Room A Message From The Relias Management Team on COVID-19 Published: May 1, 2020 Relias’ mission, to improve the lives of the most vulnerable members of society and those who care for them, takes on new meaning amidst this global pandemic. Collectively, we have come to understand we are all vulnerable to COVID-19 in one capacity or another. Yet we also understand that we can collectively contribute to the well-being, safety, and care of our families, our friends, our co-workers, and our community. If we couple social distancing with vigilant preparation and prevention practices, we can push through this tremendous challenge− together. Early in March, we released the Relias COVID-19 Preparedness and Prevention Toolkit which provides quick access to relevant courses, live webinars, current articles and blog posts. In just over one month, this toolkit has provided our community with valuable, actionable COVID-19 preparation and prevention education, and ongoing expert training, at no cost to the individual or organization. Relias will continue to provide free and unlimited access to this toolkit for as long as necessary. We also encourage everyone to share the toolkit and follow on-going CDC and WHO recommendations. Our mission also motivates us to extend our efforts into our local and global community. Additional COVID-19 response efforts by Relias include: Free Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Training Plan: This ABA course package is designed to educate at-home caregivers on implementing ABA tools and practicing techniques with their child. It includes techniques to help address behavior, communication, social, and academic skills. Free Access to Relias Virtual Classroom: As an immediate response to the need for social distancing, Relias accelerated the release of this brand-new solution. Relias Virtual Classroom is available now and accessible to Learning clients on the Relias Platform for a limited time at no cost. Complete access is provided to this Live Event session-type until July 2, 2020, to conduct training, onboard new employees efficiently, and host other educational opportunities. For more information on how to get started with Virtual Classroom, download this guide or check out our resources on Relias Connect. Comprehensive International Response: Relias’ global presence in Europe and Asia continues to provide the healthcare community and public with free COVID-19 prevention and protection resources, in each respective native-language. These resources include relevant hygiene-related and infection control courses, as well as webinars addressing mental health concerns, such as stress and fear. as well as guidance for how to protect the elderly and retirees. As we navigate these challenging times together, we are grateful to provide a small measure of community, support, and reliable information. Help spread the word, not the virus. Stay home. Stay safe. Stay informed.
