Melissa McCurry holds a master’s degree in mental health counseling from Wake Forest University, where she graduated with summa cum laude honors. She is the owner and outpatient therapist with Blue Monkey Counseling, in Raleigh, North Carolina. While she treats general mental health issues, Melissa specializes in trauma treatment, working most often with survivors of interpersonal violence, childhood trauma, and those living with post-traumatic stress disorder.
