<p><img src="//relias.innocraft.cloud/piwik.php?idsite=2&amp;rec=1" style="border:0;" alt=""> Payment Reform and the Patient-Driven Payment Model

The Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM) will fundamentally change the way skilled nursing facilities are reimbursed starting October 1, 2019. Gone will be the RUGs IV model which incentivizes the provision of therapy services. Decreasing administrative burden and costs associated with MDS management, PDPM promises to focus on resident characteristics in determining payment across services. Even though implementation is just over a year away, organizations need to start thinking of what needs to change now to support the new payment system.

Watch this webinar to learn how to:

  • Describe the changes in payment coming October 1, 2019
  • Carry out a PDPM risk assessment
  • Determine gaps that need to be filled prior to the implementation of PDPM
