About This Webinar

This webinar reviews common health emergencies and chronic health conditions that can rob a person with developmental disabilities of their health and life. We review common health risks and introduce an evidence-based system for observation and reporting changes in health conditions. This webinar also emphasizes the chronic illnesses responsible for deaths in the general population and for adults with developmental disabilities and outline how to use person-centered processes to engage the person with DD in successful preventive practices.
