About This Webinar

Each year, more than 200,000 adult cardiac arrests occur in U.S. hospitals and less than 26 percent of patients survive. Despite the efforts of highly trained, motivated healthcare professionals across the country, lives are being lost because high-quality CPR competence is lacking.

The evidence shows that CPR skills performance decays within three to six months following conventional training. Therefore, big changes are happening in the world of resuscitation training centered on patient safety. What was previously once every two-year training and compliance is shifting to low-dose, high-frequency quality improvement program sessions.

Presented by RQI Partners, a joint venture partnership between the American Heart Association (AHA) and Laerdal Medical, learn about the impact an effective resuscitation program can make to improve quality and safety outcomes.

Watch this webinar to learn:

  • Why the AHA saw the need to create the RQI: Resuscitation Quality Improvement Program
  • How RQI dramatically improves CPR quality and retention of both knowledge and skills
  • The positive outcomes that RQI hospitals are experiencing related to resuscitation
