Winning Wellness in Public Safety: How to Develop an Affordable Results-Oriented Wellness Program

October 3

2:30PM - 3:20PM

Public Safety

Research shows that a healthy workforce is a strong, resilient and high-performing workforce.  Essentially, employees who feel their best, do their best.  Therefore, supporting employee health is central to running an operation efficiently.  This session provides turnkey strategies to develop a results-oriented Wellness Program that empowers employees to measurably improve their fitness level, nutrition, sleep, body weight and ability to manage stress (and have a lot of fun doing it!).  Agencies and municipalities who have implemented these strategies have enjoyed increased employee morale and productivity, as well as significantly reduced risk of employee injury, illness and disease.  This session will feature strategies for small, medium and large-size agencies, and several are cost-free.
