Certified Speaking Professional and Author

Marcus Engel, M.S., CSP, CPXP is a Certified Speaking Professional & author whose messages provide insight and strategies for excellent patient care. His keynote presentation, “The Other End of the Stethoscope” has been witnessed by tens of thousands of healthcare professionals and his books are used in scores of nursing and allied health programs to teach the basic foundations of caregiving.

As a college freshman, Marcus Engel was blinded and nearly killed after being struck by a drunk driver. Amy Wright

Founder/CEO, Bitty & Beau's Coffee

Amy Wright is an advocate for the value, acceptance and inclusion of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Her keynote presentation, “Not Broken,” invites us to change the lens through which we view the 200 million people across the world living with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

As the mother of four children, two having Down syndrome, Amy has worked with the Special Olympics and Best Buddies International. She is a contributing writer for Maria Shriver’s “Architects of Change.” Amy helped develop the first business model for employing people with I/DD in the financial services sector at Dye Creek Capital, an independent advisory practice owned by her husband, Ben. She later founded ABLE to Work USA, a non-profit that helps people with I/DD find meaningful employment. Amy’s vision for changing the 80% national unemployment rate for people with I/DD, led her to her most fulfilling business venture yet – founding Bitty & Beau’s Coffee.

The coffee shops are run by 58 people with I/DD and have been featured on the Today Show, CNN, Good Morning America, BBC, Harry Show, Southern Living & People Magazine as well as the Rachael Ray Show. Amy was also named 2017 CNN Hero of the Year.
