Blog National Council Describes the Certificates of Excellence Program By Jaime Thornhill, on August 12, 2015 We’ve seen a great deal of interest in – and questions about – the Relias Learning Certificates of Excellence program since it launched in the spring of 2015. In a new blog post, Mohini Venkatesh, VP of practice improvement at National Council for Behavioral Health, talks about how, and why, National Council partnered with us to create the certification program. “We started with a clear goal: we wanted a firm foundation for National Council member organizations—the backbone of our nation’s mental health and addiction treatments, services and supports—to use to both keep up with changes … and make sense of them. The product is Relias’ Certificates of Excellence. Introduced just this spring at the National Council Conference, these certification courses support behavioral health CEOs as they prepare their staff for national implementation of the Excellence in Mental Health Act and many other policy changes at the national and state levels.” We encourage you to read the full post on the National Council site, and to explore the Certificates of Excellence program for yourself.
